Thank you so much for this article, i didnt know if it was possible to upgrade my Silverado radio. Had a new system installed and they installed them in the door. Since that time the connectors totally rusted on the driver's side. Is there a better location? What wire does the red wire connect to coming off a alpine deck going into a GMC sierra it's the last thing I have to figure out and I will finally be done with my system it has been a nightmare.
