Either to stakes, or a buried Deadman anchor in deep snow. Or tripods and guy lines! Previous Thread. Next Thread. Trapper Talk. Trap Shed. ADC Forum. Wilderness Trapping and Living. Cover the structure with canvas. Make sure you have enough food and firewood at hand. Happy Camping! Neighbor also recommended the in line spark arrestor for ease of cleaning, fire mat under the stove, floor and a couple heavy duty coat racks. I just bought the 1"EMT electrical metal tubing conduit for my tent frame angle kit. I cut the EMT steel tubing per your instructions for my wall tent frame. The frame was a perfect fit when I set up my wall tent at hunting camp. After setting up my canvas tent I thoroughly inspected it.
I must say I am very impressed with the quality of the canvas and the double stitching. The thick webbing on the eaves and the steel D rings is unbelievably strong. To top it off there was a double layer of canvas to reinforce the ridge that I didn't realize was a standard feature. All in all the wilderness is the most reinforced and highest quality wall tent I have ever seen.
Thanks again, Pat. I just want to comment on how much I enjoyed reviewing your website before I purchased my wall tent. I could tell you had very high quality canvas tents for sale.
However, what really convinced me to purchase from you was the hundreds of testimonials I read on facebook, your website and google. When I called your shop, Connor was very helpful and he guided me through the process of selecting the tent size, treatment, stove and accssories I needed. I really appreciate the customer service you provide and the huge amount of information on your website and your information guides. I am often asked if it is best to buy 10 or 12 oz canvas.
I prefer 10 oz canvas tents. My outfitter customers do not buy 12 oz canvas tents despite using their tents for months in extreme weather conditions. It will keep you cozy and warm in the most severe weather or cool in summer. A sod cloth is sewn into the bottom perimeter to give you a weather seal. Your tent includes a bag made of breathable fabric for long-term storage. There is sufficient rope for eave outriggers and perimeter rope loops.
Rope locks are included. Steel stakes are also included in these packages. Additional Info SKU Tags Add Your Tags:.
